In this role you’ll work on large-scale models like LLMs, contribute to data curation and model preparation, and drive infrastructure development for AI deployment, including REST APIs and web UIs. Your role will also involve performance optimization, user feedback analysis, and keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technologies. If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI and have a strong foundation in software development, this is your chance to shape the future of intelligent systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Specializing GenAI models - Be responsible for developing, optimizing, and adapting large-scale generative AI models such as LLMs for a variety of applications, ensuring efficiency, adaptability, and high performance.Data Curation & Model Preparation - Handle data curation, dataset selection, and checkpoint preparation to facilitate high-quality model training and evaluation.Deployment and Integration - Develop and maintain the infrastructure for deploying AI models for use in e.g. REST APIs or Web UIs, including containerization, orchestration, and API development.Monitoring and Performance Optimization - Implement monitoring solutions to track performance and usage, analyze metrics, and optimize the system for scalability and low latency.User Experience and Feedback - Collect and analyze user feedback to continuously refine the developed models’ interaction abilities.State-of-the-Art Technology & Implementation – Stay up to date with cutting-edge AI technologies, and translate them into technical reports, papers, and production-ready implementations.MSc (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or another related fieldGood knowledge of Python, JavaScript and C/C++ and high proficiency in at least one of these languages.Full-stack development knowledgeExperience in Dockerization and REST APIsExperience with major cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle)Experience with Deep Learning (especially transformer architectures and LLMs)Fundamental knowledge of Linux and command-line toolsExcellent team player, problem solver and goal achieverAbility to work in a fast-evolving field, dynamic work environment and to deliver on timeExperience with Container Orchestration (Terraform, Kubernetes or Docker Swarm)CI/CD Pipeline KnowledgeA dynamic, highly qualified and diverse team in which your contributions are reflected directly in our products and used by our international customer baseFlat hierarchies and short decision-making processesExciting and varying tasks for our product portfolioExcellent working environment, modern office space and flexible working hours with the option of mobile workingClose connection to academic research (EU and national projects) and a highly innovative company
