This is a remote position and we’re considering candidates in Germany only.

As a Product Manager at Grafana Labs, you’ll develop a vision and strategy for your product domain. You will own your product’s roadmap, collateral, and market research, and collaborate with Grafana leadership to refine your product’s goals. You will be the primary advocate and expert in your area, effectively communicating needs, functionality, and details to both external customers and internal stakeholders. Since the teams are 100% remote and globally distributed, strong proactive communication skills are essential.

Product Managers act as the bridge connecting Engineering, Design, and Go-To-Market teams. You facilitate the free flow of information and should be technically proficient to represent our products effectively to customers.

The Role

As the Product Manager for AI, you’ll oversee our AI offerings, including driving the roadmap and features. You will collaborate with Grafana’s R&D organization to promote AI, shape AI-enhanced workflows, and partner with other product teams to deliver features. You will develop a deep understanding of applying AI technologies to address customer challenges in observability and help define how Grafana Labs can leverage AI to solve customer problems and grow revenue.

General responsibilities include:

• Transforming ideas and feedback into a product vision and roadmap
• Empathizing with customer problems to gather user needs, requirements, and pain points
• Representing user feedback to Engineering with supporting evidence for tradeoffs and priorities
• Collaborating with Product Marketing to explain our platform’s differentiation through documentation, blog posts, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers
• Using product expertise to make strategic decisions on go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering

We’re excited about you because you have:

• A BSBA/BA in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in Product Management
• 3+ years working on B2B SaaS products
• Experience with AI, ML, and GenAI
• A desire to work on complex solutions with highly technical products and customers
• Experience partnering with Product Design for user experience
• Experience working with engineering teams in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication skills

Bonus Points

• Experience with Grafana Labs open source projects or similar tools
• Experience with OpenTelemetry
• Experience building observability/monitoring tools or developer tools
• Experience with open source software or open source companies
• Experience with SaaS and self-managed products

In Germany, the base salary range is EUR 91,464 – EUR 109,757. Actual compensation varies based on experience and skills. Benefits include equity, bonuses, and other listed benefits.
