Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to enhance our data ecosystem and build scalable machine learning systems.

This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine legacy data, establish foundational systems, and enable MLOps frameworks in a cloud-based setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop GCP Type 2 MLOps platforms to automate processes like experimentation, model training pipelines, and deployment
• Collaborate with teams to design scalable and durable data infrastructure in cloud environments
• Handle large-scale datasets to clean, transform, and optimize them for machine learning purposes
• Build reliable systems to improve data quality and accessibility across diverse projects
• Leverage SQL to perform advanced data manipulation, querying, and transformation across use cases
• Use programming skills in Python to create tools and scripts for data integration and processing
• Ensure smooth integration of tools like BigQuery, Vertex AI Platform, and other third-party systems
• Communicate clearly across distributed teams to achieve aligned project goals

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on machine learning engineering
• Robust understanding of MLOps frameworks, associated tools, and workflows
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform technologies, including BigQuery, Vertex AI Platform, Dataform, or Dataplex, paired with the flexibility to adapt to Amazon Cloud or Azure tools
• Expertise in SQL for advanced data transformations and queries
• Skills in Python for building efficient data integration tools and systems
• Background in managing and optimizing cloud-based environments and large-scale datasets
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate on distributed team projects

NICE TO HAVE

• Familiarity with Dataform and Google Dataplex to enhance data management capabilities
• Knowledge of Google Cloud BigQuery to streamline data operations
• Proficiency in Python for solving advanced data integration challenges
