Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer (Remote Brazil)

About the Role

Seeking a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer to lead the development and deployment of AI-powered conversational experiences for enterprise clients across Latin America. You will play a key technical role in building custom AI solutions on a cutting-edge platform, acting as the bridge between client needs, product strategy, and core engineering.

This is a remote position based in Brazil, ideal for engineers who thrive in fast-paced, customer-focused environments and are passionate about shaping the future of conversational commerce through AI.

Location: Remote, Brazil only (preferably São Paulo)

Must be able to overlap working hours with Pacific Time Zone (9 AM 1 PM PT) for team collaboration and meetings.

Language Requirement:

English proficiency at C-level (fluent) required for cross-team communication with international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and launch AI-driven conversational experiences for large retailers and enterprise clients.
• Collaborate directly with Product Managers, Sales, and clients to gather requirements, define scope, and deliver tailored AI solutions.
• Work closely with the core AI platform team (based in the U.S.) to leverage and extend platform capabilities, providing feedback to improve tooling and infrastructure.
• Develop full-stack features using Python (backend) and TypeScript (frontend) to integrate AI agents into client workflows.
• Define and track AI performance metrics, analyze results, and iterate to improve business outcomes.
• Manage project timelines, negotiate deliverables, and balance client expectations with technical feasibility.
• Contribute to the development of agentic AI systems, staying current with advancements in LLMs, prompting strategies, and AI frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience developing both backend (Python) and frontend (TypeScript) applications.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a hands-on development background.
• 2+ years of experience building and launching AI products, particularly in conversational AI or agentic systems.
• Experience working in fast-paced, customer-facing environments with evolving requirements.
• Familiarity with LLM prompting, agent design, success metrics, and modern AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, etc.) is a strong plus.
• Must be located in Brazil candidates from São Paulo are strongly preferred.
• Fluent English (C-level proficiency) essential for communication with U.S.-based teams and technical documentation.
