Senior Data and AI Consultant - REMOTE

We’re on the lookout for a talented and strategic Data & AI Consultant to join our client’s team on an initial 12-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the OneData Alberta initiative, helping to shape the future of data management and services across the Government of Alberta. You’ll be instrumental in developing a federated data ecosystem that leverages the power of data, analytics, and AI to improve public services. Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of data services, including advanced analytics and AI.
• Provide expert advice and strategic direction on data platform and DevSecOps services.
• Advance the OneData Alberta strategy, tactical plan, and roadmap.
• Create and present roadmaps, frameworks, and briefings to senior executives.
• Facilitate strategic conversations to build a shared understanding among stakeholders.
• Advise and coach product and platform teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Develop key metrics and outcomes to measure the success of initiatives.

Qualifications

• A university degree in a relevant field with at least four years of experience, or a two-year diploma with six years of experience.
• Over seven years of experience in leading the design and delivery of IMT services using agile methodologies.
• Over five years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise data management frameworks.
• At least three years of experience in architecting and integrating AI, ML, and analytics services into data platforms.
• At least three years of experience in leading strategic discussions with executives and cross-ministry teams.
