Senior AI Platform Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Platform Engineer to join our Enterprise AI platform team.

This role is ideal for someone with extensive AWS cloud expertise who has designed and deployed large-scale production infrastructure and platforms. You will apply your skills to transformative machine-learning challenges in drug discovery, supporting groundbreaking AI initiatives that will shape the future of healthcare.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide critical infrastructure and platforms to deploy and monitor AI/ML solutions in production while ensuring scalability and performance
• Collaborate with data science teams to build state-of-the-art AI/ML workflows and environments on AWS
• Partner with R&D data scientists to productionize ML pipelines, models, and algorithms in cutting-edge domains
• Assume end-to-end accountability for software engineering processes, including design, implementation, quality assurance, and maintenance
• Lead end-to-end technology development processes, ensuring timely delivery of robust solutions
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize the technological ecosystem, staying at the forefront of Data Processing and AI advances

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of practical experience with AWS cloud environments, including hands-on work with SageMaker, Athena, S3, EC2, RDS, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, EKS, ECS
• Proficiency in DevOps toolchains such as Docker and Git, with a modern approach to software automation and deployment
• Expertise in infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation
• Strong programming expertise with Python or demonstrable excellence in another language
• Significant experience managing enterprise platforms and services, addressing evolving project demands
• Familiarity with containerization and microservice architectures, such as Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless frameworks
• Competency in building continuous delivery pipelines using tools like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or CodeDeploy
• GxP experience and strong abilities in communication, analysis, and problem-solving

• Background in building large-scale data pipelines using tools such as Hadoop/Spark or SQL
• Skills in Data Science modeling tools including R, Python, or Data Science notebooks such as Jupyter
• Multi-cloud familiarity, encompassing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Showcase of MLOps environments developed to production standards
