Position: Senior AI Healthcare Engineer Application Location: Çankaya

We are seeking a talented and innovative AI Healthcare Engineer to join our lean, high-impact team. Reporting directly to the Chief Innovation & Technology Officer (CiTO), you’ll play a pivotal role in developing our IQ platform, focusing on advanced medical AI applications and complex healthcare integrations. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the cutting edge of AI and healthcare.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the CiTO & Chief AI Officer (CAIO) on healthcare integration tasks, using your experience with health information systems (H.I.S) and protocols like HL7, FHIR.
• Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers in a collaborative, agile environment.
• Architect and implement scalable API structures for our IQ platform using modern web technologies.
• Develop computer vision models for medical applications, utilizing leading deep learning frameworks.
• Work closely with medical experts to ensure that AI solutions meet clinical needs and integrate smoothly with existing healthcare systems.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of AI systems, including GPU acceleration and distributed computing.
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle using agile methodologies.
• Stay informed about the latest AI and healthcare tech trends, contributing to research and innovation.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on AI and machine learning in healthcare settings.
• Proven experience in healthcare integration, with knowledge of HIS, HL7, and FHIR standards.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Rust, or C#.
• Expertise in computer vision and deep learning techniques, with experience in advanced neural network architectures.
• Experience leading development teams in a collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with enterprise-level software architecture, including microservices and containerization.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and AI/ML services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages, such as Arabic or Turkish, is a plus.
• Willingness to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, if starting remotely.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in medical AI projects, particularly involving complex system integrations.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects in healthcare.
• Publications in AI or machine learning conferences/journals related to healthcare.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in healthcare software.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices in a healthcare setting.
