Senior AI Engineer, Fintech - Remote, equity-pay only

We are seeking a talented and experienced AI/ML Engineer to join our innovative team. As an AI/ML Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge machine learning models and AI solutions that drive our products and services. Your expertise in AI/ML algorithms, data processing, and model deployment will play a crucial role in advancing our technological capabilities and delivering high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Data Processing: Collect, pre-process, and analyse large datasets to derive actionable insights and inform model development.
• Algorithm Optimization: Optimize machine learning algorithms for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
• Deployment: Implement and maintain ML models in production environments, ensuring they are robust and reliable.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to integrate AI/ML solutions into our products.
• Innovation: Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML research and industry trends to continuously improve our AI capabilities.
• Documentation: Document models, processes, and methodologies to ensure knowledge sharing and reproducibility.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an AI/ML Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of implemented models and projects (ideally in Fintech/startup ecosystem).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).
• Strong understanding of statistical methods, data analysis, and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with data processing tools and libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for deploying and managing ML models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.
