Role Description

This is an on-site role for Remote Pilots, located in the Perth and Adelaide areas, the Remote Operating centres run seven days a week, these roles may include shift work, weekends and nights. The Remote Pilots will be responsible for the operation of drone technology to collect data, ensuring accurate and high-quality data acquisition. Day-to-day tasks include pre-flight planning, conducting flight operations in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. Remote Pilots will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights to clients in the mining, agricultural, security and engineering sectors.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in drone operation and geo-data collection
• Strong understanding of safety and regulatory compliance in drone operations
• Experience with pre-flight planning and drone maintenance
• Ability to process and analyze collected data
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Relevant industry certifications and pilot licenses
• Experience in the mining, agricultural, or engineering industries is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science, Engineering, or a related field
