Responsible AI Advisor - HealthTech

We are looking for a Responsible AI Advisor to guide SMEs through the complexities of adopting AI responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Advisory - work directly with SME health-tech clients to advise on ethical and compliant AI strategies tailored to their business needs.
• Policy and Compliance Support - help SMEs understand and follow AI-related regulations, and assist in creating internal policies and governance structures for Responsible AI.
• Training - provide workshops and training sessions to build SME capabilities in Responsible AI, focusing on data privacy, bias reduction, and transparency.
• Custom Responsible AI Solutions - collaborate with clients to design and implement bias detecting, mitigation and monitoring tools to help ensure AI solutions are compliant.
• Communication - act as a bridge between SMEs and regulatory bodies, keeping clients informed about the latest AI regulations and best practices.
• Thought Leadership - contribute to Orcawise’s knowledge base by writing articles and case studies on Responsible AI in SMEs.

Professional Qualifications

• AI Expertise - strong background in AI, data science, or machine learning, with hands-on experience in business applications.
• HealthTech Expertise - experience of health information systems or medical information systems a distinct advantage.
• Regulatory Knowledge - deep understanding of AI-related regulations, especially those relevant to SME developers of health information systems..
• Consulting Experience - proven experience in advisory roles, preferably in tech or AI, focused on helping businesses adopt AI responsibly.
• Communication Skills - excellent ability to explain complex AI concepts in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ethical AI Advocacy - passion for promoting ethical AI practices and ensuring responsible AI use in in the context of Bias in health tech. .
• Training Experience - experience in delivering training programs, particularly for SMEs, is a plus.
