Responsibilities:
- Implement advanced machine learning, deep learning, and NLP/NLU techniques
- Collaborate with AI researchers, AI engineers, product managers to ideate software solutions, run experiments, and create new market-fit products
- Contribute to containerization, orchestration, and DevOps implementation for quick delivery and better maintenance of cutting-edge AI solutions
- Apply corporate SDLC and support CI/CD deployment of the microservices to develop and deliver software solutions
- Demonstrate functionality, applicability, and performance of the end products
- Stump out unnecessary complexities and make complex AI/ML topics clear and accessible to business owners
- Define, develop, and maintain data augmentation pipelines
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to set plans, ideas, and deliverables and mentor junior developers/engineers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Mathematics (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of experience working as an AI/ML engineer (rare exceptions for highly skilled engineers)
- Solid knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and software engineering principles
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms for regression, classification, clustering, and data modeling
- Expertise in handling production using deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and workflow tools like Kubeflow
- Stay abreast with the latest trends in AI/ML technologies
- Experience in one or more programming languages, including Python and R
- Strong grasp of the English language for effective communication
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of advanced software tools, libraries, languages as well as image recognition and GPU
- Ability to measure, understand, and debug integrated systems
- Hands-on experience in Frequentist and Bayesian statistics
- Working experience with Git and DevOps tools
- Knowledge of Spark and Databricks platforms
- Experience with Cloud services like Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Strong working experience in Agile/Scrum environment
- Exceptional time management and leadership skills
