[Remote] Co-Founder - Backend Architect - Observability AI

They are seeking a Co-Founder - Backend Architect to shape the architecture of their platform, focusing on designing and scaling microservices for telemetry data processing and real-time analysis.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale Python/Go-based microservices that can ingest and process massive volumes of telemetry data
• Design systems for real-time statistical analysis and anomaly detection
• Ensure every backend service is observable, scalable, and resilient
• Integrate with APIs from leading monitoring platforms (Datadog, Grafana Cloud, New Relic, etc.)
• Leverage AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, RDS, Step Functions) to build secure, event-driven architectures
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to surface insights from logs, metrics, and traces

Skills

• 5+ years backend engineering (Python and/or Go preferred)
• Deep understanding of observability stacks and telemetry pipelines (metrics, logs, traces)
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices, and AWS
• Familiarity with time-series data, anomaly detection, or statistical workflows
• Passion for observability data, making it meaningful, actionable, and accessible
• Experience with LLM integrations, developer tools, or AIOps platforms
