Remote AI Engineer / AI Agent Developer (Contract / Flexible)

We are building a new AI-driven product company focused on integrating AI into real-world applications – from intelligent data processing pipelines to smart consumer chatbots, voice bots, and AI Agents. Our goal is to leverage LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and agentic AI to deliver practical, production-ready solutions for global customers.

We are looking for AI Engineers and Agentic AI Developers (remote – US, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and other regions) who have hands-on project experience and can help us rapidly spin up demos, proof-of-concepts, and reference architectures.

Responsibilities

• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation):
• Set up end-to-end pipelines (vector DB + LLM retrieval).
• Run and demo notebooks we share, deploy on local machine / free cloud (SageMaker Studio Lab, Colab, Hugging Face Spaces).
• Agentic AI / AI Agents:
• Design multi-step reasoning agents with tool use (search, APIs, databases).
• Build autonomous workflows that combine reasoning + action (LangChain agents, LlamaIndex agents, OpenAI Assistants API, etc.).
• Integrate external APIs and plugins (Google, Slack, Salesforce, custom APIs).
• Chatbots & Voice Bots:
• Prototype and deploy intelligent assistants with conversational memory.
• Explore speech-to-text and text-to-speech integration (Whisper, Deepgram, ElevenLabs, etc.).
• Data Intelligence:
• Process structured/unstructured data to extract knowledge.
• Build pipelines that connect data to conversational interfaces.
• Knowledge Sharing:
• Present your past projects, explain what worked/what didn’t.
• Share insights into latest AI/agentic trends – we treat this as collaborative learning (we learn from you while you get exposure to our product vision).

Requirements

• Strong background in Python, AI/ML, and NLP.
• Experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, Mistral, etc.).
• Familiarity with RAG frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, RAGatouille).
• Hands-on with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, FAISS, Chroma).
• Experience building chatbots, AI agents, or workflow automation.
• Ability to spin up demos fast and explain the setup.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of cloud AI services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex).
• Prior work with open-source AI frameworks.
• Experience in Agentic AI research / AutoGPT / CrewAI / LangGraph.
• Knowledge of security and safety in AI agents.
