We are seeking an experienced Process Improvement Regional Lead to join our Artificial General Intelligence – Data Services Operations (AGI DS Ops) Team. Key job responsibilities Amazon is seeking Process Improvement Regional Lead to join the Amazon AGI-DS Operation Team and relentlessly drive continuous improvement initiatives across our World-Wide network while preserving best-in-class quality for the products (data) we deliver to our customers. The role will be based in our The Hague site. This role is essential to establish best in class network performance. As we continue to rapidly grow our AGI footprint and infuse the organization with new talents, we need to ensure the operations teams are equipped with the functional expertise to successfully deliver efficiency at scale. As a Process Improvement Engineer, you will work closely with the key Teams shaping the industry of Generative AI such as – but not limited to - AGI-DS Operations, Quality, Customer Program Management, Tech, Finance, Science. You will be responsible for designing and deploying continuous improvement initiatives, building networks and relationships, and driving compliance within assigned timelines. This role requires high level of critical thinking, judgement and ownership. You are expected to understand initiatives in detail, influence without authority, and deliver meaningful results to make an impact A day in the life Key responsibilities include: Identify improvement opportunities by comparing process performance and variations across the network (1P and 3P)Monitor and analyze key input metrics, implementing improvement actions using standard templatesReview and validate results using standardized reports and dashboardsDriving path to excellence through close collaboration with other sites and regional teams to share best practices and gain efficienciesDrive network best practice improvements, working with local teams to identify and document successful initiativesStrengthen the framework for capturing and scaling site innovationsSupport large-scale improvement projects with significant network impactOrganize weekly and monthly business review on performance metrics, project implementation, and improvement initiativesBuild strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure buy-in for initiativesOwn the deployment of network initiatives at site levelSupport testing and piloting of new projectsEnsure timely execution and compliance with network standardsDocument and share implementation learnings and business reviews through crisp writing in line with the high Amazon standards BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or related technical fieldNative-proficiency fluency in verbal and written EnglishLean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher preferred)3+ years of experience in process improvement, operations, or technical environmentsExperience with data analysis and process optimizationStrong project management and documentation skillsProficiency with data analysis tools and visualization softwareBusiness acumen, critical thinking PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster’s or PhD degree in Engineering, Operations, or related fieldExperience with change management and continuous improvement methodologiesUnderstanding of AI/ML operations basicsExperience with process mapping and workflow optimizationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong ability interpreting & communicating analytics and presenting to senior leadershipExperience influencing without direct authorityExcellent communication skills and detail orientationAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated track record of delivering process improvements Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
