You will take part of the entire development cycle from research to design, implementation, and release to production.You will work on complex problems related to indexing and querying, at the largest scale, influencing millions of developers worldwide.This is a unique opportunity to extend Redis capabilities to the AI age early in the cycle.What You’ll DoResearch, design, and implement state-of-the-art algorithms for Redis vector searchOptimize core algorithms for speed and resource consumptionInvestigate complex real-world issues at Internet scaleImplement hardware-specific optimizations (e.g.: SIMD, SSD, GPU, CUDA) Collaborate across teams. Work closely with the broader engineer team, Support, DevOps, leading the fastest NoSQL databases in the worldWhat will you need to have?12+ years of experience with designing and developing database, storage, or high-performance distributed systemsExperience with AI, indexing/querying, big data, distributed systems, or storage systemsProficiency in at least one system language (C, C++, Rust, etc)Self-directed, ambitious, and eager to learn new skills and technologiesBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Related FieldExtra Great If You HaveExperience with high-performance multithreaded codeExperience with RedisObject Oriented expertiseRead research papers for funWe Give Back To Our EmployeesOur culture is what makes Redis a fun and rewarding place to work.
