We seek a Principal Product Manager who delivers outcomes, not presentations. Each week, you’ll tackle one clear goal tied directly to student success, prove it with data, and iterate until excellence is undeniable. This isn’t about managing a product—it’s about transforming how students learn.

You’ll convert deep learning science insights into structured “Brain Lifts” that enhance both human and AI intelligence, while shipping meaningful features weekly. Our platform combines five decades of learning science with subject matter expertise and AI coaching to deliver personalized education at scale—whether helping students overcome learning gaps or excel in advanced coursework.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop comprehensive Brain Lifts—structured repositories of expert insights that enhance AI capabilities, guide strategic decisions, and demonstrate your domain mastery
• Execute rapid, data-driven product iterations shipped weekly to systematically drive measurable student learning outcomes
• Cultivate deep, structured domain expertise enabling the team to make superior decisions, create precisely tailored educational experiences, and communicate with authority

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Managing traditional product roadmaps or dictating build specifications—we focus on outcomes, not output
• Approaching problems with predetermined solutions—your work begins with becoming a domain expert who deeply understands student needs
• Overseeing month-long feature development cycles—our rapid iteration model demands weekly shipping cadence
• Engineering technical solutions or defining software architecture—your focus remains on learning outcomes, not implementation details

Basic Requirements

Principal Product Manager key responsibilities

• Minimum 4 years in product leadership positions where you personally crafted product vision and owned core problem-solution hypotheses
• Demonstrated success launching at least one complete product (not features/modules) to external users from inception through completion
• Proven aptitude and enthusiasm for integrating AI into your professional workflow (research, analysis, synthesis, strategy)

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
