Job Description:

We are seeking a specialized ML Engineer - LLM Specialist to lead the development of large language models (LLMs) tailored to the multifamily industry. This role is crucial for leveraging natural language processing technologies to enhance tenant engagement, optimize property management operations, and drive innovations in automated communication solutions. The ideal candidate will have profound expertise in LLM methodologies, with a focus on applying these technologies within the multifamily sector.

Responsibilities:

• Data Preparation: Oversee the collection, cleaning, and preparation of industry-specific datasets, ensuring data integrity and relevance to multifamily contexts.

• Pre-training: Develop robust foundational models using unsupervised learning techniques that understand industry-specific terminology and contexts.

• Fine Tuning: Customize models to excel in tasks critical to the multifamily industry, such as automated tenant inquiries, lease processing, and management communications.

• Instruct Tuning: Refine models to follow complex instructions in natural language, tailored to the unique needs of property managers and stakeholders in the multifamily industry.

• Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF): Employ human feedback to fine-tune model responses, ensuring they align with customer service standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field preferred; Master’s degree considered with extensive industry-specific experience.

• Proven track record in developing and implementing large-scale language models, ideally with applications in real estate or similar sectors.

• Deep understanding of NLP and machine learning technologies, proficient in programming languages such as Python and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt solutions to the unique challenges of the multifamily industry.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders within the industry.
