Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional AI specialist to join our team and help us drive innovation in the field of artificial intelligence. As a Data Scientist - AI Specialist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply algorithms to large-scale data, design and implement our AI strategy, and help accelerate application development within Apple.

Key Capabilities:

• 2+ years of overall experience in the software industry focused on ML
• Highly skilled in quantitative programming languages such as Python, R, SQL with distributed stores like S3, Flash, Vector Database
• Experience with model deployment for experimentation
• Strong understanding and experience with advanced AI (ML) algorithms, deep learning, statistics, and large language models
• Strong understanding of transformer architecture, vector embeddings, and applying models to solve various business problems
• Ensuring data quality through analysis, modeling, handling missing values, anomalies, evaluating model performance, validating results, and interpreting the results to provide actionable insights
• Selecting appropriate ML algorithms, training models, and tuning hyper-parameters to achieve the best predictive performance
• Experience with training a model or using a pre-trained model and re-training or fine-tuning to custom needs
• Ability to present results of analyses in a clear and meaningful way to both technical and non-technical audiences

Education and Experience:

BS in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred
