IT Project Manager (Gen AI) - Remote

Our client, a prominent organization in the insurance industry, is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team remotely. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and deliver key projects, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the execution of AI-driven initiatives within the company.

What is in it for you:

• Hourly salary of $96 to $111, based on experience.

• Contract of 4 months with a very high possibility of extension.

• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.

• Weekday schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm EST.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution and delivery of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project plans, timelines, and business objectives.

• Facilitate meetings, develop project roadmaps, and manage action items to support successful project launches.

• Conduct cost-benefit analysis, build strategic roadmaps, and cultivate strong relationships across teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within GWAM to support Gen AI use case delivery, including project planning, data analysis, and reporting.

• Work closely with leadership to define project scope, manage constraints, and ensure projects meet business priorities and deadlines.

• Document and manage project processes, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.

• Proactively identify and escalate risks, issues, and blockers to ensure timely project delivery.

What you will need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or related advanced degree is advantageous.

• PMP or PMI certification is highly desirable.

• 5-7+ years of proven project management experience, with a strong focus on people management and team building.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong drive to initiate and execute projects effectively.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build deliverables, project roadmaps, and conduct cost-benefit analyses.
