What You Will Be Doing

• Design and Deploy Full-Stack Features: Transform user stories into impactful results; clarify needs, design scalable solutions, code both backend and frontend, conduct thorough testing, and push to production.
• Identify and Resolve Bugs: Conduct root cause analysis to address issues, solve core problems, and prevent future errors with smart testing practices.
• Enhance Code Quality: Review plans and pull requests to ensure clarity, simplicity, and accuracy, preventing technical debt before it arises.

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or complex systems without purpose.
• Following specifications blindly without grasping the issues at hand.
• Getting bogged down in endless discussions about roadmaps and priorities or chasing after colleagues.
• Simply rolling out features; you will focus on addressing genuine issues.

Full Stack Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Leverage AI to develop software that addresses real-world user challenges, ensuring rapid deployment and long-term maintainability.

Basic Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing production code for web applications' frontend and backend (using any framework).
• Proven ownership: Experience managing complete modules, product features, or teams, beyond just isolated tasks.
• Autonomous execution: Ability to overcome obstacles, manage your own pace, and navigate ambiguous situations.
• Experience integrating generative AI into daily development tasks.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
