AI Robotics Specialist - Southern Germany - 12 Month Contract

I’m supporting a pioneering robotics organisation in Southern Germany that’s advancing AI-driven automation for industrial and service robotics. They’re seeking an AI Robotics Specialist to design, develop, and deploy intelligent robotic systems, with an immediate start for a 12-month engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI algorithms for robotic perception, motion planning, and control
• Integrate machine learning models with robotic hardware and embedded systems
• Work on sensor fusion for vision, LiDAR, and tactile feedback
• Build real-time decision-making and path optimisation systems
• Maintain compliance with safety, data protection, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 10218, IEC 61508)

Requirements

• Proven experience in AI/ML for robotics, including Python, C++, ROS/ROS2, and TensorFlow/PyTorch
• Experience integrating AI with industrial or mobile robots
• Track record of deploying robotics solutions in real-world environments
• Fluent English; German is an advantage
• Must have permanent residency in Germany or hold an EU/EEA passport

• Location: Southern Germany (Remote - with occasional onsite visits if required)
• Contract: 12 Months
• Start: Immediate
• Hours: 40/week
