Founding Engineer – AI Agents

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Founding Engineer – AI Agents, based in Christchurch. The Founding Engineer will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI agents. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, coding, debugging, and implementing AI models, enhancing existing solutions, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of AI outputs. As a founding engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the technology and strategic direction of NicheMindAI.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AI/ML, data science, and model development
• Experience with software engineering, coding, and debugging in Python, JS, AWS, Data Management
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop autonomous systems
• Experience in deploying and scaling AI solutions in enterprise environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in project management and leading technical teams is a plus
• Familiarity with SQL and dashboard generation is a plus
