Data Automation Operator - Entry Level (Remote)

Job_Summary:

BankUnited, Inc. is a bank holding company seeking a Data Automation Operator I to join their Data Automation team. The role focuses on enhancing business efficiency through automation of various tasks and involves developing processes, analyzing user requirements, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with users from different areas to examine and analyze business needs for new or existing processes, for flows of data and expected outcomes.

• Design and create critical workflows, file transfer processes and other automations for both internal and external clients.

• Help identify dependencies needed for successful automation, analyzing impacts for any modification requests or additions.

• Work with PMOs and application teams to design and improve automation architecture and scheduling of jobs.

• Monitor automated jobs, troubleshoot failures, and escalate issues in a time-sensitive production environment.

• Create, update and maintain documentation.

• Ensure scheduled tasks meet established SLAs and deadlines.

• Resolve platform integration issues involving Tidal, Informatica, SSRS, OBIEE, SQL, Tableau, and other applications.

• Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).

• Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.

• Identifies and reports suspicious activity.

Qualifications:

-Required:

• 1-3 Years Experience in Information Technology, with a focus on automation, AWS, system integration, or operations

• Understanding of Lambda, JSON, PowerShell, Bash, and system-level commands

• Knowledge of Informatica, Oracle, SQL Server.

• Agile driven.

• Strong technical and communication skills.

-Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field; or equivalent experience in Technology Operations, and/or engineering, with a focus on Automation administration, database architecture, AWS, and data management support

• 1-3 Years Hands-on experience with job scheduling tools, preferably Tidal Automation and MoveIt

• Confluence, JIRA, QuickSight and ServiceNow experience
