Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our development team. This role is critical in ensuring our platform’s reliability, scalability, and performance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend technologies, experience in building robust APIs, and a passion for creating efficient and secure server-side applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that power our platform.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of the backend systems to handle large volumes of data and traffic.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement and maintain data storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software, ensuring it meets high performance and security standards.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to deploy applications and monitor the system’s health and performance.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our backend infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or Ruby.
• Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Understanding of security best practices for backend development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience in handling large-scale data processing and real-time systems.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies and how they interact with backend services.
