Backend Developer (PHP + SQL) – Remote | AI Startup

You’ll write backend logic, build APIs, and work deeply with SQL databases to power a real-world analytics product.

🌟 What You’ll Do

• Develop backend features and APIs using PHP.
• Design and optimize relational database schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Write and tune SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Translate product requirements into clean, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend systems.
• Debug, test, and continuously improve backend and database logic.

🔧 What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in backend development.
• Solid working knowledge of PHP and SQL.
• Experience building or contributing to real product features.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, database design, and query optimization.
• Clear logical thinking, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to debug independently.
• A degree in computer science, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with Laravel, PostgreSQL, or database profiling tools.
• Exposure to query optimization, caching, or indexing.
• Personal projects or internships with backend + data work.
