About the Product: ALBIS™

ALBIS™ is our no-code enterprise-grade AI automation studio designed for non-technical users to rapidly deploy AI-powered workflows across diverse industries. It fuses GenAI, IoT, Automation, AR/VR, and real-time decision-making into a seamless environment for intelligent action, customer experience, and operational autonomy.

Position Overview:

As Grant Writer at GENIE AI, you’ll be instrumental in helping us secure public and private funding to fuel our R&D, pilot projects, community initiatives, and product scale-up. You will work closely with the executive team to identify grant opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and build a strong case for support that aligns with our mission to responsibly accelerate AI adoption for public good and commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Research & Opportunity Scouting

Identify relevant local, national, and international grants, including those offered by governments, foundations, industry accelerators, and public innovation programs.

Proposal Development

Craft persuasive, tailored, and technically accurate grant proposals that articulate GENIE AI’s vision, impact, and value proposition across sectors.

Program Alignment & Strategy

Work with internal stakeholders to align grant proposals with GENIE’s existing projects and roadmap. Translate technical and visionary ideas into fundable language and frameworks.

Documentation & Reporting

Manage the end-to-end grant application lifecycle including LOIs, budgets, outcome metrics, and reporting requirements for successful grants.

Partnerships & Collaborations

Support strategic partnership applications and consortium-based grant bids by coordinating with ecosystem partners and academic collaborators.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience writing successful grants, ideally within AI, technology, or social innovation fields
• Strong understanding of public funding bodies (e.g., NRC IRAP, NSERC, Mitacs, CMF, SDTC, Horizon Europe, etc.)
• Exceptional writing, research, and organizational skills
• Ability to translate technical language into accessible narratives
• Familiarity with impact measurement, budgeting, and reporting protocols
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and work autonomously
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Public Policy, Communications, or related field preferred

Nice to Have:

• Experience with funding proposals in areas such as Smart Cities, Workforce Development, Clean Tech, or Digital Inclusion
• Familiarity with impact frameworks such as SDGs, ESG, or B-Corp standards
• Passion for generative AI, automation, and future-of-work technologies
