AI Software Engineer – Kubernetes and MLOps (Remote US, Freelance)

Job Description

Our client in the technology industry is seeking an AI Software Engineer to join their team. As an AI Software Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHOAI) team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for open-source communities, experience in Kubernetes and MLOps, and a desire to innovate in the MLOps domain.

Job Title: AI Software Engineer

Pay Range: Based on experience

What’s the Job?

• Contribute to the architecture, design, development, and testing of new features and solutions for RHOAI
• Innovate in the MLOps domain by participating in upstream communities
• Ensure non-functional requirements including security, resiliency, and maintainability are met
• Write unit and integration tests and work with quality engineers to ensure product quality
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing recommendations and technical knowledge with team members

What’s Needed?

• Experience developing applications in Go or Python, or other language
• Experience in Kubernetes, OpenShift or other cloud-native technologies
• Ability to quickly learn and use new tools and technologies
• Experience with source code management tools such as Git
• Good system understanding and troubleshooting capabilities
