We are seeking an experienced AI Software Architect to lead the conceptual design and planning phases for multiple projects aimed at transforming advanced machine learning and optimization software into more accessible and commercially viable solutions. This role is crucial in developing the theoretical frameworks that will guide the future implementation of user-friendly interfaces, cloud deployment strategies, and commercial support structures across various projects. This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (LPR).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive conceptual design documents, including interface mockups and API architecture diagrams for multiple projects.
  • Create detailed cloud deployment strategies, analyzing major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and outlining necessary modifications for each project.
  • Design user experience (UX) research plans to identify user requirements and pain points across different software packages.
  • Produce technical feasibility reports assessing current architectures and potential simplification challenges for various projects.
  • Propose commercial support frameworks, including team structures and training program outlines tailored to different software solutions.
  • Conduct market analyses and develop adoption strategies for target industries relevant to each project.
  • Perform risk assessments and create mitigation plans for identified technical, operational, and market risks across multiple projects.
  • Estimate resource requirements, including timelines, budgets, and necessary skill sets for various projects.
  • Project scalability and performance improvements based on proposed optimizations for different software packages.
  • Develop phased roadmaps for future development and feature releases for each project.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform relevant job duties as required by specific projects.

Requirements:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Deep understanding of hyperparameter optimization and automated machine learning techniques
  • Strong background in cloud computing architectures and deployment strategies
  • Experience in user interface design and API development for complex software systems
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Airflow, Spark).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and database design.
  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly solutions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with high-performance computing environments is a plus
