AI R&D Team Lead (Full Remote) - 1014963219

We are building an AI Research Lab that leverages state of the art research and R&D of current trends in A.I Research and frameworks. The primary goal is to drive product development and think of this as a fast Applied AI Lab. The team lead will manage a team of Applied AI Researchers, focus their efforts to provide tangible business application outcomes, and build proof concept products with speed. Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in a Machine learning research field
• Team Lead Experience: has been able to demonstrate leading a small agile team in a small research capacity
• A candidate with extensive knowledge of commercial ML Models and their capabilities for practical use cases in Business applications
• Problem-Solving Mindset: You are a collaborative problem-solver, eager to take on new challenges and contribute to a fast-paced development cycle
• Passion for AI: A genuine passion and awareness for artificial intelligence and a strong desire to build products that leverage its capabilities to solve real-world problems
• Creativity and Proactivity: You have a passion for building great products, are eager to propose new features, and enjoy finding creative solutions to improve the user experience
• A Proactive Self-Learner reading-up and knowing and investigating recent developments in the A.I Field, new releases and what are the current iterations of models & algorithms being pending release
• Applied Mindset: A pragmatic researcher who can balance exploration with feasibility—knowing when to go deep and when to iterate fast
• Technical Depth: Strong hands-on experience with modern ML frameworks and techniques—transformers, encoder-decoder architectures, vector embeddings, and tokenization strategies
• Coding & Experimentation Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, HuggingFace Transformers, LangChain, or similar libraries. Comfortable with experimentation frameworks
• LLM Ecosystem Fluency: Experience with both closed-source APIs (Claude 3, OpenAI GPT-4o, Gemini 1.5 Pro) and open-weight models (Mistral, DeepSeek, Phi-3,) Benefits
