AI Project Manager at Matas Group

We are seeking a driven AI Project Manager to join our Core AI team. This role is part of Matas Group’s ongoing transformation, where we (including Kicks) are strengthening our AI capabilities and enhancing customer experiences. This is an exciting time for us, and we are looking for someone who wants to contribute to creating value for the entire organization.

Your Role

As an AI Project Manager, you will lead both short- and long-term projects in the areas of AI and analytics. You will work closely with the Head of AI, the technology organization, external vendors, and key stakeholders. You will report directly to the SVP AI and Analytics. Your role involves driving AI projects across the Matas organization, focusing on implementing and promoting the use of new methods involving Generative AI, AI, machine learning, and data products. Additionally, you will support change management efforts to ensure these methods are integrated and deliver the desired value.

You will oversee projects from start to finish, managing everything from process-oriented initiatives to larger technical projects where you collaborate with teams of developers to create and test complex solutions. Your focus will be on supporting the team to ensure that the outcomes result in valuable products that genuinely make a difference for the organization.

By collaborating with various parts of the business, you will gain unique insights into Matas Group and have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of retail. You will play a key role in our strategic investment in AI, contribute to training in the area, and drive innovative projects forward.

About You You have:

• Minimum 3 years in management consulting or project management within data and analytics

• A master’s degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or equivalent.

• Strong skills in project and change management.

• A genuine interest in AI, Generative AI, and emerging technologies.

Meritorious experience in:

• AI/ML projects and infrastructure

• SQL and Python

• Collaborating within agile teams
