AI/ML Developer - Part Time / Freelance Work

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Developer to build and deploy AI tools for regulatory purposes, specifically within the healthcare and medical diagnostics field. This role involves designing and implementing machine learning models that support the regulatory submission process, ensuring compliance with FDA requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML development and experience in building systems for medical or regulatory applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models that support regulatory processes for medical diagnostics, particularly FDA submissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand regulatory requirements and ensure the AI tools meet necessary compliance standards.
• Optimize AI tools for performance, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain and update models as new data becomes available, ensuring continuous improvement of the AI tools.
• Assist in preparing the necessary technical documentation and reports for regulatory submissions.
• Work closely with the Data Scientist to ensure proper integration and functionality of AI tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in AI/ML development, preferably within the healthcare, life sciences, or regulatory sectors.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages, with experience in AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with regulatory compliance and FDA submission processes is highly desirable.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with attention to detail in model deployment and documentation.
