Overview

This opening is for a skilled and innovative AI Architect/Engineer to lead AI/ML innovation, particularly in the finance domain. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership capabilities to architect scalable, enterprise-grade AI systems and drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AI/ML development and implementation, a strong understanding of financial systems, and a proven ability to collaborate across teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Work Location: Remote, anywhere in the US; team works EST hours

Duration: 12 months with the possibility to extend

Pillar: Associate Technology, supporting Finance & Accounting

Preferred Background: Candidates with experience in Finance, Insurance, or Retail

Requirements

5+ years of experience in AI/ML development with expertise in RAG, PyTorch, TensorFlow, GenAI technologies, and system-generated models

10+ years of IT experience, demonstrating leadership and technical expertise

Proven ability to design and architect scalable, enterprise-grade AI systems, specifically tailored to financial applications

Deep understanding of financial systems, regulatory landscapes, and data-driven decision-making processes

Track record of building proof-of-concept AI/ML applications and successfully scaling them into enterprise-grade solutions

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present and sell technical solutions to diverse audiences, including large groups

Typical Duties

Architect and implement scalable AI/ML solutions to address critical business use cases

Develop AI-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency, cost optimization, and compliance adherence

Lead hands-on development using RAG, PyTorch, TensorFlow, GenAI, and system-generated models

Design and optimize solutions utilizing vector databases for efficient data retrieval and embedding storage

Collaborate with business and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment

Stay updated on industry trends to integrate cutting-edge AI capabilities

Deploy production-ready AI/ML systems tailored to enterprise finance applications

Lead the development and execution of AI/ML strategy across teams

Effectively communicate technical solutions to diverse stakeholders, including large audiences
