AI / Backend Engineer (Antwerp)

We’re a fast-growing startup in Antwerp and we’re looking for an AI / Backend Engineer (4+ years experience) to help us scale our AI-driven logistics stack.

🔧 What you’ll be doing

• Develop and maintain our backend in Python
• Build and manage AI pipelines (LangGraph, LLMs, OCR)
• Set up real-time evaluations & metrics for client reporting
• Research & improve OCR pipelines
• Work closely with our team and interact with clients for new features
• Monitor and maintain our cloud setup in production

✅ What we expect

• Strong Python skills
• Experience with Docker and SQL (PostgreSQL)
• Hands-on with LLMs (prompting, function calling, evaluation datasets, multi-modal inputs)
• Knowledge of OCR pipelines and CI/CD
• Fluent in English
• On-site in Antwerp (4x/week)

• Google Cloud Platform and/or Microsoft Azure
• LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith
• GitHub portfolio with real projects
• Master’s in AI or relevant engineering degree
• Affinity with logistics & transport
