Job Overview:* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Accountant to join our finance team in a part-time capacity. This role will provide an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their careers in accounting while working in a remote setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various accounting functions, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities:*
Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing relevant financial data and analysis.
Compliance and Auditing:
Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to local and international financial regulations.
Participate in internal audits and support the organization during external audits.
Data Entry and Analysis:
Perform data entry tasks related to invoices, expenses, and other financial documents accurately and promptly.
Utilize accounting software tools to analyze financial data and generate reports for management review.
Collaboration and Communication:
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
Support other departments with financial queries and provide assistance as needed.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting practices and technologies.
Stay updated with the latest accounting standards and best practices.
Requirements:*
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently enrolled in relevant studies).
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools.
Personality Traits:
Hardworking: Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving goals.
Independent: Ability to work autonomously and manage responsibilities without continuous supervision.
Soft Skills:

Language Skills:
